Unpopular Opinion But...

Here's some powerful advice for those of you looking to others to lead you as you seek their approval to validate you and how you do what you do.
When you seek validation, approval, or leadership, it's crucial to ensure that the person you turn to possesses a clear understanding of themselves and their direction.
It's essential to recognise that others cannot lead, approve of, or validate you if they cannot lead, approve of, or validate themselves.
When faced with disapproval, marginalisation, dismissal or poor leadership without clear direction, avoid retaliation and losing motivation and do this instead:
1. Embrace your uniqueness and boost your inner confidence. People often disapprove of what they don't understand or appreciate about themselves AND others.
2. Listen objectively to disapproval; don't stay stuck in hurt, anger or emotion. Extract any truth to improve and let the rest go.
3. Cut through the noise and follow your path. Don't be afraid to break free from conventional norms, even if it means disapproval.
4. Streamline your decision-making by aligning with your values, not external validation.
5 Accept and embrace your unique self, strengths and weaknesses to foster an authentic life and leadership. Disapproval often stems from deviation from convention - the 'norm'.
Don't let hurt feelings, lack of emotional intelligence, fear of marginalisation or disapproval hold you back from building a successful life for yourself, leading courageously, creating high-performance teams, mediating conflicts with skill, and resolving workplace issues while preserving relationships.
Why do you hold back your unique strengths and improve your weaknesses as a leader, lawyer, law firm, team, mediator, attending meditation or in business because of the fear of disapproval from those who have little confidence in themselves and they don't approve of or value themselves?
Unleash your potential by identifying what works best for you, your teams, your family, your mediations or workplace disputes and your life...mastering it and consistently putting it into practice.
The antidote to constantly seeking external validation and approval is focusing on your self-worth and how you validate yourself as the best version of yourself.
