101...

There are so many conflict-resolver beginners.

No matter what industry or profession you work in.

And many others, including leaders, have been doing the same thing for decades.

And 85% of all of these people need help with the basics.

The conflict resolution 101 skills.

Keep conflict resolution simple.
Make it people-focused.
Have clarity.

You'll have more fun and resolve most conflicts more easily.

But if you focus on the things that don't help you resolve conflict:

🚧 What's wrong - problem-focused
🚧 A 'perfect' position paper
🚧 Proving you're right, not willing to listen or show empathy
🚧 Make the other party lose
🚧 Your fears (criticism, shame, failure, rejection, embarrassment, not good enough...or loss).

This will lead you to be one of the 85% who need help with the basics.

Remember: You can learn to be among the 15% of high-performing leaders (regardless of title, position, rank, or profession) who resolve conflict skillfully.
