The Confident Leader Circle: LIVE Next Tuesday "As A Female Professional, Work Life Balance Is a Complete Myth...Or Is It?

As a leader, there's nothing worse than working '24/7,' trying to juggle your time, workload, and personal life while constantly reacting to crises.

Despite all your hard work, you likely feel perpetually overwhelmed, like you're on a hamster wheel, out of control and behind, constantly feeling like you're trying to catch up.

I know the feeling. I've been there, too, and I still need to be aware of when I am overwhelmed and the reasons why.

We all face it—it's a shared experience in the leadership journey.

But it doesn't have to be this way.

The truth is that leadership is visual: your teams are watching and mimicking your habits.

When you're overwhelmed, it affects you in ways you may not be aware of and it affects more than just you:

- Poor Decision-Making: Overwhelm clouds your judgment, leading you to make poor decisions, personally and professionally, that result in financial losses, reputational damage and damaged personal and professional relationships.

- Lack of Support for Teams: When you're overwhelmed, you can't effectively support your team (or personal relationships), causing their stress levels to rise too. This reduces morale and productivity, ultimately impacting the bottom line of business.

- It affects your time management skills: Leading to procrastination, missed deadlines, and an accumulation of tasks on your plate, making it hard to prioritize and focus.

Awareness of and addressing why you are constantly overwhelmed is crucial to achieving stability and balance in your leadership and life.

Not only for your well-being and performance but also for the well-being and success of your team and organization.
