Leaders Make Time For Self Care

Leaders and lawyers - who we are is far more critical and valuable than what we do for work (who you are is how you think, feel, and DO everything)

When your identity and self-worth come from your career | work, title, status or position (and not from internal validation, self-confidence and realistic self-worth), then you will find it very difficult to minimise the time spent on your role, status, work, or position (and say NO and set boundaries).

You will feel more guilt when you take time out to care for yourself, thinking it is selfish or doesn't see the need, thinking it will add to your overwhelm, and feeling you have no time for self-care.

Don't get so busy building a career and chasing 'success" or seeking others' approval that you forget to value yourself, your well-being, your needs and your life.

Identifying less with your role, career | work, status or position allows you to live into your role more fully, well and happily - long term.

Then you achieve a level of resilience that enables you to perform at higher levels over the long term in your career while maintaining a healthy sense of self, happiness and well-being.

No time for self-care is a sign. You need more significant focus, new beliefs, discipline, learning, and mastery of your current path and priorities to perform at high levels.

You are a much more valuable, high-performing leader and lawyer when you care for YOU - you deserve it (and so do the people around you)!😁
