❌ A mismanaged leader's mindset that focuses on problems, what is wrong or could go wrong and consistently trying to prove self to be correct - wielding power over others
❌Unmanaged emotions: where fear (of making a mistake, being criticised, being blamed or competency questioned), anger, and self-doubt drive all decisions, actions and interactions - creating a fearful environment for all
❌ Exhaustion is rewarded as a status symbol
❌ Conflict and uncomfortable conversations are avoided (including performance feedback), and instead, talk about people behind their backs.
❌ Takes credit for other's ideas or work
❌ Aiming always to look and deliver perfection.
❌ High performance is measured (and rewarded) by how much 💰 is brought into the organisation or business with no accountability for poor behaviours
❌ Belittle, ridicule or retribution for those who speak up
❌ Encouraging and tolerating unhealthy competition and comparison
❌ Micromanage employees and take away their autonomy
